Teachers and their guest staying at this intimate luxury Boutique hotel enjoy exclusive access to over 90 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails as well as many secluded crystal pools and waterfalls set in a tropical rainforest. For those seeking romance, one of the waterfalls may be reserved exclusively for the day. Pros and their companion are invited on all half-Day excursions during the weekly retreats. Gourmet meals and healthy drinks are included. Recently this is a resort open to personal trainers and massage therapists for teaching vacation booking so please inquire regarding dates and details for the unique opportunties. Teach to registered resort guests or set up your own retreat! Situated in the Maya mountains in the Cayo district, this cozy forest lodge also serves as a convenient base for visiting the various scenic and historical attractions of the area. A lazy float down the Macal River on a canoe trip is a peaceful way to observe the indigenous fauna, flora and bird watching. Horseback riding through the forest with a local Hispanic guides is a unique experience; mystical caves can be explored on foot, by canoe or tube whilst you step through a portal of San Ignacio towards major Maya sites.
Schedule for Fitness Pros (Tentative and subject to change)
Two yoga classes per day consisting of sunrise yoga and afternoon yoga on any of the three platforms as well as on excursion.
Class schedule will change based on the needs of the resort guests as often appointments are made by guests and cleared with the teacher. Therefore, flexibility in teachers schedule is a must! FUN! FUN! Yogis LOVE Hidden Valley Inn!
Personal Trainers: Will work one on one with guests or work in small groups totally based on the needs of this petite resort's discerning guests. Two hours of teaching time daily.
Massage Therapists: Will work with the certified and experienced spa staff to enhance and expend upon the services already offered. The position will offer a couple longer days spent with the massage staff then complete days off to enjoy.
Gift Fund Options
Equipment fund of $150 is included with the checkout process to book this teaching vacation. The gift fund was created by Fit Bodies, Inc. at its inception as a gesture of kindness toward the resorts hosting each pro. These resorts, no matter how large and how prestigious, do not have a budget for certain items they desire and require for the day to day operations in the entertainment and fitness departments.
Transfer Information
From Belize City (BZE) Road transfers will be arranged by our office via your Fit Bodies, Inc. concierge once you have secured airfare. Transfers are $30 per person each way and will be paid for at the resort.
