My students were great and I loved the teaching experience. I used my phone and personal bluetooth speaker for music with group fitness classes on the beach. Staff were very helpful but the entertainment manager was off most of the week so had to connect with the asst. manager. No problems though. Great experience!

Entertainment staff were very. nice and everybody there was friendly and helpful Every day except the travel day I taught yoga on the beach. I would stop off on my way to pick up towels (as the director instructed) and would be there 15 mins prior to my 9am class. i taught for 45 mins as there was another class starting at 10am in the same spot. on rain days I taught at 10am on the stage but this was not well published and only had 2 show up. All other days had good attendance with 10-18 people. Only one class a day. Airport has been renovated and very clean and smooth running. the resort is a little run down but not terrible. we had a bad leak in the bathroom when it rained but noticed the roof had lost shingles and probably from the recent hurricane. We rented a car but would not suggest this to others - stick to the transportation that can be requested through Fitbodies. Did not feel safe driving around there.

I love this resort. Fitness class was held on the beach. Lots of rejuvenation time! Once I got started, everything was pretty good. The class was not on the rainy day schedule so when it rained, I had nobody because it was not announced anywhere. I was asked to do the class anyway in the new venue but nobody joined. was a great vacation. Never got a response from Hanier. I sent a message upon my arrival. I checked the schedule and presented myself where I was supposed to be to teach the class. Luckily it was not my first rodeo. All good.

Teaching Zumba on the beach is beautiful. Bring the energy! They have a stereo on the beach to hook your phone into. Great time spent with my family!

My booking experience was great, all questions answered very promptly. I had a delay in my flight and was worried about ground transportation and heard back from Erica right away, everything overall a great experience with Fit Bodies. Hotel staff was awesome, front desk and management very helpful, bartenders and e-staff In general were very friendly. Amstar staff were great. I did have to seek out the head of the team when I got there, his name was Henrry, I did not have much interaction with him and never met him. The e-staff was supposed to help every morning, but did not show up on several mornings until midway through class or after. The first morning I had to figure out where the class was supposed to be on the beach. I did not see anywhere that the class was posted for advertising and they definitely did not have any of the Fit Bodies promotion flyers up. Overall we had a very wonderful time, the resort was luxurious and beautiful, the food was amazing and I will definitely take another trip soon and recommend to my fitness friends. Getting to my vacation was very smooth, ground transportation was easy to find. I did not need my vaccination card or a negative covid test to get into the Dominican Republic, on the way back to the United States I had to show my negative test results. Customs was fine going both ways, just took a little to get through so always give yourself plenty of time. Everything was safe and airport staff leaving the Dominican were very nice and helpful.

I taught yoga and Pilates on the beach. Plenty of towels to work with as mats and such, plus I take my own bluetooth speaker but outdoors on the beach, the breeze is perfect music sometimes for my class style. I did not get to meet the Entertainment Manager but his team was great! This was my 3rd teaching vacation and I tell all my instructor friends about how great it is!

I traveled to Now Larimar Dec.29-Jan5. I didn't know this, but the resort was closed for a while for renovations. The resort was beautiful! Very clean, spacious and the staff was really friendly. Of course, when you arrive they try to sell you a bunch of stuff. We did not upgrade to premier. Premier has access to a certain area on the beach, a separate pool, a bar and restaurant. I was scheduled to teach at 10am by the pool. There was another instructor there and she taught at 9am. No participants in my class the entire week. The food was alright! The on-site gym is really nice. We also took advantage of the spa - it was lovely. I wouldn't return here because I always like to try a new place. It was enjoyable!

I just returned from teaching stretching, yoga, and beach fitness at NOW Larimar. I can not express enough what a beautiful and seamless experience I had. The entertainment team was amazing in recruiting folks to my classes. I met with Blackie upon my arrival and he told me what time my classes were to be. I just looked at the sundial the night before to see what format he wanted that day. The resort itself is BEAUTIFUL! Food was excellent and lastly, the people were so lovely. I definitely recommend this resort!!!!

I really loved my teaching vacation last week at now Larimar Gardens. Larimar Gardens is inland to Now Larimar qhich is on the beach, so there was a 10 minute walk to get to the beach from our room but I didn't mind that because of all of the Great food that we were eating! Plus at the gardens there was a fabulous pool and bar which was a lot quieter then a larger Resorts pool area. I taught my classes at the now Larimar on the beach. I taught yoga every day at 9:30 a.m. there were between 4 and 12 students everyday. There was another instructor from fitbodies staying at now Larimar and she taught a stretch and Zumba class by the pool everyday at 10 and 10:30 a.m. I recommend setting up your towels next to the waters break instead of by the DJ stand if you are teaching on the beach, it just seemed more soothing being next to the waves crashing while doing yoga! The airport is only 25 minutes from the resort. The staff is very nice. I would definitely return! Can't wait to book my next trip.

We've been on several trips but never to the Dominican yet, mainly Mexico. It was stunning on the beach and the weather was breathtaking without rain the entire time, but a nicce breeze everyday. When I arrived there wasn't anyone there to greet me, so I went on the lookout to find an entertainment staff. Blackey was there one day on Sunday night and told me to teach stretching or yoga at 9:30 on the beach and music would be provided. He also said Beach fitness after that at 10:15am. Music only came about 5 minutes left of class for yoga. So if you want to bring a speaker you can, but it was nice to just listen to the waves, Plus there are so many people walking by and the waterwaves are FILLED with boats already that some play loud music and you can't hear well anyway. The first day there were about 20 people in yoga and I had to get towels, I actually sent my daughter. Sometimes a local gym instructor showed up with Trampline equipment or boot camp equipment and sometimes he didn't. I think 3 days he came. So be prepared to teach 9:30am stretching or yoga and 10:15 fitness something on the beach unless he shows up. There was another instrutor there at 10am yoga on the poolside with only 0-4 people on average. I never got a chance to meet up with her because our classes overlapped. She didn't look like she was a local. I had to ask some people to join in the beach fitness classes, and almost every person did and were so thankful I asked them. The beach fitness class could only last about 15-20 miutes because it was so hot. Everyone was done by then. There were all ages in the classes. Teenagers and kids to grandparents. Some wore swimsuits and others workout clothes. It was VERY hot so no super intense classes were asked. We did a little boot camp stuff, but people got too hot. Core on the mats were a big hit. It's a VERY relaxed atmosphere and staff. No one really came out to check on me with the classes except one day. They were busy poolside with activities. They are very nice and easy going and want you to enjoy your vacation too. You may have to go find them to talk to them. I gave my 'gift' I was asked to bring on the 3rd day since I couldn't find anyone prior. I handed it to the entertainment staff working the towel booth - who was usually the newer staff member. Great vacation for teenagers! There was a casino and nightly activities in the main plaza which brought everyone together - it was like the whoel resort came out together so it was very fun. Dinners were easy to get in to and there were tons of people on Spring Break too, so I was surprised how short of waits there were for dinner. I gave them 4 starts because they weren't that organized. No staff members were around during class times prior or after. If this was my first teaching vacation I wold have had no idea what to do or where to go. Great trip overall!!

Wow- I can’t think of anything that would make it better!

It was a very laid back and relaxed environment. I taught a yoga-inspired stretching class every morning around 10am by the pool, and the other instructor did stretching/pilates by the beach. They had speakers where I could plug in music and yoga mats. The classes were small (no more than 6 people)! This was my first teaching vacation, and I was pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go again! The resort was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations, and the entertainment team was incredibly friendly, energetic, and helpful. I had so much fun teaching in the mornings, and the afternoons and evenings were free to relax and have fun.
