Everything seemed perfect on this teaching vacation! The resort and location was spectacular. I taught in the morning and had members come to all the classes except two of the days. I decided to teach a variety of cardio, lower body toning, abs and a nice stretch at the end. The entertainment coordinator Victor was very nice and grateful to have me at the resort available to teach. The service was amazing and everyone was kind and helpful. It is a very peaceful and relaxing environment and I would totally recommend Kore Tulum Retreat and Spa Resort!

The resort already had a local yoga teacher who came every day to teach meditation at 7:30 and yoga at 8 am. Although I registered to teach yoga I told them I could teach a boot camp at 8 am and a pilates yoga blend at 9 am. The resort was very small and was not filled to capacity. I waited to teach each class each day an only had one person on the last day for a yoga/pilates class. I tried to drum up business at the pool area and a number of younger folks said they planned to come but when I saw them later in the week they told me they had stayed out too late to wake up that early. :). I would have loved to teach but there wasn't the demand. Management still seemed happy that I was there with FitPro Travel.

My boyfriend and I had a WONDERFUL stay at the KoreTulum last week (2/12-2/19). This trip was my first experience participating in a teaching vacation, and boy was it a dream! Guillermo and his staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating - they answered any questions we had about the resort, local attractions, and local adventures. I worked closely with Victor in regards to planning the group fitness schedule for the week and had a good turn out for an 'off-season' week. I loved being able to take my classes to various areas of the resort to workout and enjoy the gorgeous views of Mexico! It was great connecting with people of different countries - it was even more fun having them in class. If you're looking for a relaxing, getaway vacation - Kore Tulum is the place to go! Next time I'm looking to vacation, I will definitely be booking through FitBodies again!

This is my 9th trip and my favorite. We have 2 small kids at home and just want to relax. We also enjoy culture and stepping away from everything being Americanized. Tulum is such a neat place. It's the first place that we've regularly left the resort. The staff here is super laid back. I teach a 9 am boot camp and 5 pm stretching and have had 2 to 5 participants in each class. If you are looking to relax, practice Spanish eat great food and make a few friends this is the spot. Maybe my favorite resort yet!

This resort is a treasure. It's beautifully maintained and the staff is impeccable. We had professional, friendly and courteous service our entire week. I can't wait to return!

I taught at 9 & 5 each day. It was really quiet at the resort so I only had a few students at first but met people throughout the week and introduced them to yoga!

My honest review here - this resort was THE most beautiful resort I have ever been to. However, it wasn't quite a "happening" place, and we were looking for a little bit of "life". If you are looking totally for R&R, this is your place. If you are looking for a little R&R + a little bit of activity and fun, I'd suggest this isn't the perfect spot. The accommodations are magnificent. From the resort premises to inside the rooms. The food was left a bit to be desired. It was "fine". I am a very simple, healthful eater, and I did find it difficult to just get "plain" food. After a few days, they got used to me and went out of their way to accomodate. Service was a little slow, but we were soooo relaxed, it didn't matter. Also, the resort faces the ocean, but it does not have immediate beach access at the resort. We rode bikes just a few minutes down the road to one of the most amazing beaches I've ever seen. It was a good activity and I didn't mind not having access right at the resort.

I would definitely recommend this resort because it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful and the food and accommodations were out of this world!! It was truly paradise! The manager was very supportive of Fit Pro Travel and went out of his way to make me feel welcome. The Yoga instructor who originally greeted me was not very helpful as he didn't show me where the equipment was or where I could teach classes and had no suggestions as to what time I should be teaching. The concierge helped me with all of that. The yoga instructor barely spoke to me the entire week. I introduced myself to the guests of the resort and invited them to classes. I do not mind doing this, but if another instructor is too shy, they may not get any participants. I met wonderful people who came to my classes almost everyday. I got to know many of the guests and they really appreciated the classes.

I taught at KORE Tulum during the last week of February (2/20-2/27/2016) and had a wonderful experience. The resort had only 40% of occupancy at that time. I could set my own teaching schedule around their 2 Yoga classes per day taught by their own instructor. I taught Pilates in the morning and Zumba in the afternoon. Mind/body formats are in favor at this place so Pilates was better attended. My classes ranged between 3-6 participants. I held my AM class outside in the gazebo overlooking the ocean and people loved it. You don't need music outside with the waves crushing against the cliffs. My PM class was held in the mirrored studio which had a speaker and an audio wire. KORE Tulum is a small and intimate mind/body resort offering a very relaxing atmosphere and quiet setting. There is no evening entertainment so be prepared to unwind completely. If you are a dining enthusiast looking for a wide variety of restaurant this will not be your resort. Dining options are limited comparing to other resort with only one restaurant serving breakfast and lunch on the main level with amazing views on the oceans and indoor dinner with Italian, Mexican and Asian cuisine. The menu offers plenty of health options such as gluten free and vegan. The staff is very genuine and accommodating. Venturing outside of the resort is super easy, you can get a free bike and take a ride to Paraiso beach club and Tulum Ruins going North along the coast and many restaurants and shops going South along the coast. The resort has a very convenient location and I would encouraged you to venture out along the coast in both direction, you will not regret it. The beach access at this resort is limited since the resort sits on a cliff but the setting and landscape of this place is breathtaking.

This is a beautiful resort. Very quiet, laid back, chill out type of place. The thing I loved most was the tons of healthy menu options! No nightlife at all so plan on getting a lot of rest and relaxation. They have a free shuttle to Paradise beach which is 1.5 miles away, or you can walk or ride bikes there. It is truly the prettiest beach I've ever been to.

I taught Yoga, Core strength, Tabata, Bootcamp, and Integrated flexibility circuits. Classes ranged from 8-13 Participants. 6:30-7:30 AM, 6 pm- 7 pm Mon-Thur. 7 am-8 am, 5 pm,6:00 pm Fri-Sunday. The classes were very energetic and fun. I conducted free on the spot Assessment test on those who were interested in finding out more on their overactive and Under active muscles, And modified their workouts during the integrated flexibility classes in order for them to work on correcting the muscle imbalances. It kept them interested and coming back to each class to learn more. This was the by far the best experience I have had since becoming a fitness professional. I would definitely do it again and again. Everything about the experience was absolutely breathtaking and Awesome!

My wife and I stayed at kore resort the week of December 11. We loved the location, close to everything, and the resort grounds were beautiful and the staff was fantastic, especially Judith at the front desk and Eddie at the swim up bar and all the breakfast crew. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast and lunch was great, but dinner needs some improvement, but we have been to tulum before and we had a lot of restaurants we were looking forward to eating at. All around we had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

My husband and I spent a week at this resort in mid- December and absolutely LOVED it! We have been going to Riviera Maya for a getaway every Winter for the last five years. This resort was different than other all-inclusiveness we have been to. It really was a retreat away from noise, crowds, and busyness. I loved the fact that they played relaxing music at the pool, instead of loud and wild music as is typical at these kinds of resorts. There was ALWAYS available lounger and outdoor beds to relax by the pool or overlooking the ocean. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed the free bikes and went exploring to nearby beaches and Tulum. The best part of our stay was definitely the amazing people who work at this resort. Gabo, the yoga teacher, is so welcoming and loving and works so hard to make sure that guests take advantage of what is offered. He is a very kind man. We loved how friendly and warm the women who served us breakfast and lunch were. Flor, Beatriz, and Isamar made us feel so special and pampered! Adriana makes sure everything runs smoothly and is so kind and friendly with a beautiful smile every time you look at her! They even helped us learn some Spanish while ordering our food. The food was also different than other resorts, very healthy and absolutely delicious!!!! Our favorite waiter for dinner was Juan. He was always so happy, positive and cheerful. We loved his "Oh- la- la' s" what a sweet guy! His service made our meals taste even better! Thank you for providing a truly wonderful relaxing vacation for us
