Yoga on the beach - Wow! I took a Bluetooth speaker but using the waves and breeze for music works well too. Practicing on pool towels works well for the beach classes. Really nice experience.

Zumba by the pool is a hit here! I connected my phone to their cord and system for music and invited guests to join my class. I love The time to relax and rejuvinate, Teaching while also on vacation!, The Resort staff. Martin and his team are so dedicated and hard working - they did a fantastic job! I had a great experience from booking to check in to teaching - I would definitely book another teaching vacation with Fit Bodies and have recommended to many fellow instructors to check it out.

It was awesome to finally cash in on an experience such as this! This is certainly the first of many more to come.
It's helpful to adjust your instructor mindset to "vacation exercise". Pick your battles when it comes to things thrown your way that may not fly at home. It would have been far more challenging for me personally if I were a new instructor. Thankfully, due to my experience, I could go with the flow much better than if I were strict on a schedule or format.

I taught yoga from February 17 - 24. It was a great experience. The staff was friendly. I taught one 9:30 am class on the beach per day. I averaged 4 people. I taught indoors when it rained one day. My family enjoyed the resort and our trips into the beautiful and fun old town.

This is such a great resort and very friendly staff. I was directed to teach on sand by volleyball area-great ocean view and was shaded for a bit by palm trees. I led class from 9:30-10:15 a.m. I had between 5 and 15 participants each day. The class was billed as gentle stretching and I incorporated a few gentle yoga poses in.We did not use music. The pool music usually started around 10 am.
They had 4 mats for participants to use and others used beach towels. Often the entertainment staff would carry the mats from the club house down to the place where I led classes for me.

This was my first teaching holiday and enjoyed it very much. The Entertainment staff at Sunscape PV were amazing. They are very friendly and offered to help any way they could. The resort was beautiful and my two girls (age 8 and 10) had a great time at the Explorer Kid Club.
