5-stars all around! I love my teaching trips. Classes were in the quiet zone, about 7-12 students each class. The staff is wonderful.

Eduardo and Jorge were amazing! They even led our tour when we went into town. They have become our friends now. My teaching vacation was just perfect. The resort was spectacular and the staff amazing. The people I met were so fun. I appreciated the fact that I get to do what I love while traveling with my husband.

I had SUCH an amazing time on my very first FitBodies teaching vacation. Zoetry Casa Del Mar is GORGEOUS, the staff was friendly, and the food was amazing. For those who might be worried about traveling to Mexico: I found Cabo San Lucas seedy but generally safe while traveling with others from my hotel during an Amstar excursion (we did the catamaran sunset cruise to see the arc -- and I saw a whale spouting! BONUS!). Downtown Cabo was sort of equivalent to Times Square in NYC during the day in terms of how safe it felt: i.e., you need to be aware of your surroundings, but no violent crime. San José del Cabo, on the other hand, was 100% comfortable: I did a walking tour with members of the AMAZING Entertainment staff at Zoetry during a Thursday evening open gallery night in the small city. Overall, I would go back to Zoetry in a heartbeat and I would do another Fit Bodies teaching vacation anytime!

Yoga class is in the 'quiet zone' between the ocean and pool. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, the food was amazing, and I have never had such sweet and attentive service from staff. We happened to be there at the end of whale season, and we saw whales in the ocean right off from the property morning, noon, and night. It was a thrill every single time! Our room was so beautiful and clean, and 24-hr room service is part of the Zoetry all-inclusive experience. You can't swim in the ocean here (we even had to sign an agreement that we would not), but they have an awesome main pool with a swim up bar as well as several other smaller pools to enjoy. We also made use of other entertainment opportunities and the spa at the resort. The Mixology Class was super fun, and the spa was one of the nicest I've ever been to. All of the staff are super accommodating and kind. The resort was so awesome, we barely left, but we did go into Cabo San Lucas for a whale watching tour. The AmStar representative in the lobby was able to help with that and was very friendly and efficient. We felt very safe with the tour. We also went into San Jose del Cabo for the Thursday night Art Walk; it was very fun and we enjoyed getting to experience more local culture there. Overall, I can't recommend this resort ENOUGH! I would go back in a heartbeat.

I was treated very well by both the hotel staff and the entertainment team. I felt like a special guest. The full details of my experience have been posted on the Facebook teach on the beach forum. with pictures. During this particular week of teaching, I felt I had exceptional value with this high-end resort. It was an experience that I would not have been able to have if it wasn't for FitBodies Inc. Very grateful for this opportunity. blissful! Great food!

Grass in silent area is where I taught yoga. They have mats and towels. I didn't use music. This resort is very Zen! Lalo and Alejandra were really great after we got the routine down. At first they were a little slow in getting the mats out. I asked if I could get them myself but they said no. It was really good to have Alejandra join my class three times. She told me she really appreciated my teaching! Zoetry is a beautiful, low key and amazing resort. They really value quality customer interaction so that everyone felt really cared for. Yoga attendees stayed after class to chat and most returned for multiple classes. That is very gratifying.

I taught yoga at Zoetry Cas del Mar November 14-19, '22. It is a beautiful location - probably the longest beach I've ever seen. The sand is so thick- there is a swimmable beach within a ten minute walk near the Hilton. It is a quiet, lovely reprieve from the hustle and bustle of life. Not loud at all which I prefer ...only a little music playing at the pool bar and within the hotel, nice spa like music through out which I prefer to loud party music. I stayed in one of the buildings close to the hacienda. It had its own pool which they started to heat the last few days I was there-four pools on the property - main one was not being heated yet and it was cold! Yoga classes were at 9 am and 5 pm with low attendance and only one each on two of the evening classes. The E-team manager told me that most guests just stay 3-4 days so not many participate in activities - I only had between 1-2 most days and the most (4) on Saturday morning. I had a massage - had to get a man cause I booked too late but he was very professional and it was good. Only had a sauna and a communal hot tub in spa area - both male/female shared. The food was great - unusual omelettes available - pink, green and orange ! Loved that they brought out juices, fruits and waters for yoga in the morning and hot tea for the evening class. Very healthy options plus very pleased to see (and order) Maker's Mark Bourbon! Loved it and as Denise said, I would go here over and over again - can't wait to go again and discover all the Zoetries!

Yoga and meditation is held in the “Quiet area” on the grass overlooking the beach:) They really catered to our vegan food choices! They made us special veggie fajitas (my favourite):) so nice!!!! Fitbodies is one of the BEST things we’ve done in our lives! Such a privilege to inspire people to learn about yoga or meditation:) most people try these activities for their first time while on vacation. I consider it an honor to be the person to share my practice with others and to pass on the gift of yoga/breathe, hopefully people can use for the rest of their lives! This was a flawless trip!!

There is ideal time to relax and rejuvenate. I enjoyed the whole luxury vacation! Spending quality time with my companion was in a perfect setting. Everything with the booking was good. Interactions with staff, absolutely WONDERFUL! The only thing I would change would be to see if the yoga (at least during the hot summer months) could be taught in a shady spot rather than in direct sunlight. I will definitely book again!

This was our favorite resort for food, staff and experience. The only complaint was that the classes were held in the hot Sun and most participants didn’t come back to a second class due to it being too hot and sunny. So as usual on a teaching vacation, wear your hats, SPF and sunglasses while teaching. the resort itself, the staff and the food are amazing. class is on the lawn by the beach. I enjoy taking time to introduce myself to guests, and invite them to class. The E-Team helps with this.

Yoga and meditation are taught in the grass overlooking the ocean. No music is needed because the outside ocean sounds are amazing. The vacation was great and it was very well organized, we will be doing another in the next year but will probably choose a different resort. It was a very quiet resort this time of year.

Just got back from Zoetry Casa del Mar in Los Cabos! I taught 2 yoga classes, back to back, 8:30 and 9:30. I decided to teach yin for the first class and vinyasa for the second. On Thursday, a SUP yoga instructor taught in the pool at 9:30, so I only had the 8:30 class. I joined her class and it was great! There were 6 yoga mats I retrieved at concierge on the first day. After that, I kept them in my room for easy access. There was nothing available to clean them with, but you spray them down in your shower. Omar, the entertainment coordinator, met me the first day of class and explained how to have students sign in, but he never brought me the sign-in sheets each day as he said he would. Three days I didn't have anyone at the 8:30 class, but I had someone every day at the 9:30 class. The most I had; however, was two people at a time. The staff brought out water, fruit, and juices for the students to have after class. I just had to make sure they stayed under the shade of an umbrella. The "Silent Zone" where classes were held was not shaded and brutally hot. The last couple of days, I moved to a grassy place right next to the yoga area and moved several umbrellas over, which Omar said was fine, and that helped a lot. I highly recommend doing that in the summer months! Although I didn't get the king bed I requested, the room was very spacious, nice, and comfortable. Housekeeping was superior (3x a day) and they kept the mini-bar well stocked with snacks, water, beer, sodas, juice, and little liquor bottles. There were also complimentary full size bottles of tequila, white wine, red wine, and champagne. There is no table and chairs in the room to eat at, but there is one on the patio. The hotel property and pools were beautiful, very well maintained, and clean. There was; however, A LOT of construction going on with renovating rooms, and it was quite loud, even during yoga. Just something to be aware of if you are going during the summer of 2022. There are 2 main restaurants, a pool bar, and an inside bar. The Saltwater restaurant was on the beach and served mainly seafood for dinner. We ate there for breakfast every day and it was absolutely amazing! The El Arroyo restaurant was at the main hotel area and served mainly Mexican food for dinner. You can also order food at the pool bar, Reflections, as well as room service. Both were good! I had coffee and a delicious pastry every morning at the Maguey bar before yoga. Wednesday and Friday nights, they offered special dinners outside with entertainment that were very nice! There were discrepancies between the information on the TV and Ipad in the room and what was posted on the TV in the hotel area regarding the times places opened and when activities were happening, including the yoga classes. What is listed on the TV in the hotel is the correct one, NOT what you see in the room. The beach is gorgeous, but not swimmable. One day, we took an Uber to Chileno Bay, a public beach 7 minutes away, and went snorkeling. I highly recommend it!!! You can also walk about 1/2 mile north to the beach in front of the Hilton and swim. It's still a red flag area, but calmer, and people do get in the water there. We also took an Uber to San Jose del Mar, about 10 min away, and ate lunch at La Lupita Tacos and Mezcal. Very delicious gourmet tacos!!! Saturday night, we took an Uber about 20 min to Cabo San Lucas and had dinner at Mi Casa. It was a really cool Mexican restaurant and the food was excellent! Using Uber was super easy, safe, and cheap. We felt very comfortable using the service. There were some activities at the hotel such as cooking and dancing classes, but overall, it's a pretty small, quiet and chill resort. It's adults only, but people from neighboring condos use the resort, and that includes children. So, just know that going in. Overall, we had a relaxing, nice time. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and hospitable! However, no one showed us around when we first arrived or told us about the amenities, so I hope this post is helpful for those of you teaching at Zoetry Casa del Mar!

The staff was the best part of the trip! Omar the activity coordinator as well as the staff as a whole! Louis and Alexandra from the bar; Freddie; Rebecca; Mauricio; Mario Flores; Mario; Victor Fierro all from Saltwater. These people make the experience.

Staff was great and all went well. The Entertainment team walked around and invited guests to join, and posted on the Activity Board. The hotel's bluetooth speaker works well for music. I taught yoga and aqua programming on the quiet lawn and pool. Beautiful resort!

Zoetry Review April 10-16/2022 Room- *Pros Rooms were clean. Excellent housekeeping with maid service three times per day, including turndown service. Complementary laundry service (no dry-cleaning) with 24 hour turnaround. Minibar is well stocked with snacks, wine, beer, liquor, soft drinks, still & carbonated water. Nespresso maker in the room. Room service only took 30-40 minutes, but our neighbors reported longer waits. It may vary. New wide screen TV in the room (also see CONS below). *Cons We requested a room with a king bed, however we were given a room with two double beds. Obviously, what you are given is based on availability. Although the TV is a smart TV, it only has a connection to YouTube. You can use it as a bluetooth speaker, however. Resort Amenities & Staff- *Pros Very quiet (for the most part), small resort. Only 60 rooms in the resort (see CONS comment below). Quiet until about 10am, which was perfect for my 0930 Yoga class. Crowds start to pick up after 10am. Friendly staff. No loud “club music” playing at the pool. The six beach cabanas are free! Just reserve ahead of time. The cabanas are reserved exclusively for the hotel guests, not the condo residents. There was several daily activities scheduled but there did not seem to be a lot of participation. The resort is close to San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. We did not go to San Lucas Taking an Uber to San Jose costs, excluding tip, approximately $12-15 and a taxi costs about $40. We really liked our Uber driver and hired him to drive us privately. *Cons This resort is NOT adults only. It was explained to us that they refer to it as adults only because there are no activities for children. So there were kids of all ages in the pool, in the hot tub, running around the resort. (Note: we are not anti-kid, it’s just that “adult resort” has an expectation of no kids running around and splashing in the pool, having a tantrum, placing their water shoes on the swim up bar, etc.). Pool side/beach side service was spotty and inconsistent. Some days it would take an hour for someone to come by and take an order and they did not come around very often down at the beach. While there are only 60 hotel rooms, the remainder of the property is condo owners and renters. This means more kids running around Also dog poop on the lawn outside of our room. Zoetry is billed as a wellness-focused resort Other than the daily yoga class and the availability of the spa (for an additional charge), we could not determine what made this a wellness-focused resort. It IS quieter than Secrets, but otherwise seems the same, albeit smaller with fewer amenities. Wi-Fi is very slow and inconsistent. The ocean during April is not accessible due to dangerous currents (red flags). This is not a complaint against the resort, just something to be aware of in case you are looking to swim in the ocean. Unlike Secrets, they don’t have large bins of pool towels available. Only a few are put out each day and one afternoon they did not have enough towels for my yoga class. Restaurants- *Pros There are two restaurants, Arroyo and Saltwater. The swim up bar at the pool, Reflections, also serves typical bar food (burgers, nachos, etc.) during the day. Arroyo had really good food and great service. It is open for breakfast and dinner. Attire is “casual wear” for breakfast and “casual elegance” for dinner. Breakfast service at Saltwater was excellent. Typically, there are not many people up for breakfast. Saltwater, open all day, is located on the beach, and is all outside dining (there is shade). The view is great and the ambiance is wonderful. One evening there was live music. Evenings were cool after the sun set, but they had heaters available to move next to your table. If you are coming during the cooler months, bring long sleeves. *Cons The restaurants are VERY understaffed. One evening at Saltwater there were only two waiters and the hostess. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer. The entire dinner took over two hours. The service, while friendly, is EXTREMELY slow. For some reason, they do not salt the food; this is not an exaggeration. Our neighbors made the same comment about the food. There is not salt and pepper at the table, but it is available upon request. Some items on the menu at Saltwater seem to be prepared up at Arroyo and brought down. Given the lack of staff, this increases the wait time for your meal. If you are a coffee connoisseur, you will be disappointed. There is no cafe. There is brewed coffee in the restaurants and the lounge has espresso and lattes. That is it. No flavored syrups, etc. Teaching Experience- What to Expect: FitBodies will connect you with Omar, the Entertainment Team director thru What’sApp. This is the most convenient way to DM here in Mexico. I met with Omar on the first day about 15 minutes before my first class was to begin. He showed me where to get the yoga mats (5 mats total) & towels (pool towels) for set up. You pick them up from the concierge desk in the lobby. One afternoon they ran out of towels. Unfortunately, no one offers to help you carry everything. I did ask for assistance but the wait was too long. I believe it is because they were short staffed. I taught two classes a day, 9:30am & 5:00pm. There was no 5:00pm class scheduled on Tuesday, so I had the afternoon off. Take this opportunity to go into town. Your schedule may vary, so do not count on this. My smallest class was one student. My biggest class was six. If no one shows up for your class, you are to wait 15 minutes then you will shoot a short video of the area to show that no one is there. You will then send it to Omar through WhatsApp. I had three 5:00pm classes with no students. Once class is over, roll up all the mats, gather all the towels and return them to the concierge desk. There is no “dirty towel bin” to drop off towels by the pool. The Yoga area is in the grass adjacent to the “Quiet Zone.” During one of my 5:00pm classes, there were loud conversations & barking dogs. They bring freshly squeezed orange juice, cold bottled water and a bowl of fresh fruits for after each yoga class. All of the yoga students were very appreciative. Overall impression: This was our first Fit Bodies, Inc. experience. It was wonderful! Booking the time and coordinating with Fit Bodies was straightforward and easy and we would happily do it again. Fit Bodies makes it so easy and wonderful! We have been to several of the Secrets resorts in Mexico as guests, not teaching yoga. I would say that for the steep discount Fit Bodies provides, the overall experience was fine. However, if I were paying full price for the resort as a guest I would have been very disappointed, given the lack of restaurants, slow service and other amenities. We had the feeling that they are still trying to figure things out at this small resort. Hopefully with time the kinks will improve at Zoetry.

Not an adults only resort. They allow access from the neighboring condos access, which means kids and a different level of guest than you would expect at a high end resort like Zoetry.
