Joanie has been teaching group fitness classes for over 23 years. She teaches a variety of group exercise class formats including Zumba, Zumbatomic, and Les Mills International (Body Pump and Body Step) as well as many other formats (step, sculpt, toning, high-low, circuit training, etc.). She has been trained and certified by nationally recognized organizations including the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and the Cooper Institute (formerly Institute for Aerobics Research).
