- Todd Piker
I was born on June 14, 1952 and grew up on the north shore of Long Island in a town called Port Washington. It was there that I was first introduced to the game of tennis and my family became founding members of the Port Washington tennis Academy. That illustrious institution lists Tracy Austin, John McEnroe, Vitas Gerulaitis amongst many others as members. The town was a tennis hotbed for many years and continues to be a beacon for the tennis scene on Long Island. I played High School tennis in PA and then picked the sport up again in my early 20's. Since that time I have continued to love the game. In 1995 I salvaged 2 red clay courts that were destined for demolition and have hosted a summer program for my CT town every year since then. I have 2 daughters. One of them was n the Tufts University Varsity tennis team.
