Tom Brumfield

My name is Tom Brumfield. I am from Joplin, Mo.   I am currently Head Boys and Girls High School tennis coach at Thomas Jefferson IDS.  I played High School tennis for 4 years, played college tennis at  Southwest Baptist University, then graduating with a degree in Physical Education.  I have been teaching tennis through clubs, private lessons, and city programs for the past 40 years.  I have been a High School tennis coach for the past 35 years. I was honored with being name the state of Missouri High School Coach of the Year award for 2019-20.   I am a certified USPTA Developmental Coach.  I have coached players all the way to the High School State Championship.  Tennis has been a love of my life as I still play and compete.
