Janelle Heusinger

My name is Janelle Heusinger.  I am a registered Dietitian in the state of Iowa. I am currently finishing my Master’s Degree in Public Health this summer.   Staying healthy has always been a passion of mine and working in the healthcare field I’ve seen first hand the effects of obesity. It is creating a substantial public health crisis in the United States and in the rest of the developed world.  Over the years we have seen an increase in the prevalence of weight issues and obesity reflected among all ages, ethnic, racial and educational backgrounds. 

              I am a certified spinning/RPM instructor and have been teaching part-time at a local health clubs for the past seven years.  My hobbies include running marathons, triathlons, skiing and snow shoeing.
