Perry Birger RYT,CPT:  The practice of yoga for Perry has been a transformational experience.  He has realized that a regular practice will strengthen the ability to tap into ones physical and spiritual potential, heal and more deeply understand physical and emotional suffering and reach new levels of total fitness and health.

Perry has completed training and has been certified by Baptiste Power Yoga Institute and has completed both level 1 and 2 teacher training boot camps with Baron. Perry has been trained in asana and meditation practice, teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology as well as the philosophy, ethics and lifestyle of a yogi.  He has also been certified with the Yoga Alliance as well as being certified with the ISSA as a personal fitness trainer.

Yoga guides me back to my inner essence.  It cleanses the body in only a way that yoga can.  It opens up our energy centers and cleans out our garbage mentally, physically and spiritually.  You don’t have to be a long time yogi to take a power class.  At North Shore Yoga, it is all levels in all classes.  It’s not about obtaining a full posture or looking like anyone else in the room.  It’s about tuning in your ujiayi breath, being you and letting that connection guide you through your asana practice

I have embarked on a wonderful journey of wellness and will continue to strive to be the best trainer and person I can be. Learning early in life of the importance of being active has helped me become better aware of the benefits of mental, physical, internal and external health. I have many goals and aspirations of becoming the best personal trainer and athlete I can be. I 'm very passionate about what I do and have a very positive and motivating drive in making not only me but others around me the healthiest they can be. Focusing on perfect health is something we can all do within ourselves, despite what may be happening on the outside. I really take pride and enjoy seeing other peoples lives change through proper, well-organized training programs, a will to change, and a positive attitude.
