She
then moved on to work as a boot camp instructor for a community center that
provided discounted classes for those on a limited income. Her next move was to become certified in
personal training and aerobics.
Rachel’s constant drive for improvement and thirst for knowledge, led her to decide to take on the challenge of figure competing in 2008. Competing has opened her eyes to the dramatic changes a healthy, balanced diet can have on your physique. Staying active and working out was the easy part, for a woman who had always been a runner, a cheerleader, a softball player and a gym "go'er". Yet having personally witnessed the amazing transformation that the “right eating” can have on positively changing your body, led her to want to share and help others seeking solutions.
Currently Rachel works at a local gym, as a group fitness coordinator, group fitness instructor, and personal trainer. She also is the director of sales for FitWorld; a company that sells fitness apparel, sports supplements, and personal training services. Her current position as sales director allows her to travel while selling her products and services at expo events and fitness shows. Traveling is something Rachel has always held a passion for, thus working for fitness pro travel would combine her passion for fitness with her enthusiasm for travel.
Rachel
is hopeful and determined to live her fitness dreams and to continue to help
others on their quest to feel great, stay motivated, and discover their
potential. Rachel wants to help you get
excited about how simple it is to stay healthy, eat right, and live active!
