Hi, I'm Gretchen Yahn and I have been a dancer for over twenty years. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Dance from Columbia College, Chicago in 2002. I discovered The Pilates Method shortly thereafter, rehabilitating an injury I sustained while performing. It was during rehabilitation that I fully actualized the potential of Pilates not just as a method of recovery from injury but as a valuable tool and asset to enhance my performance abilities as a dancer. Since then I have been teaching a wide variety of clientele from professional athletes to full time moms who want an alternative workout from the everyday gym experience. In addition to this I have worked for the past two years in a Chiropractic/Wellness Clinic working alongside a variety of doctors as a Rehab Therapist, utilizing the Pilates Method to rehabilitate a variety of injuries. This work inspired my passion to continue my studies at Loyola Marymount where I received my Master’s Certification in Movement Analysis. I look forward to working with you and supporting you along your path to overall wellness and actualization of your full physiological potential!
