My name is Amy Owen, and I've been a group fitness instructor for the past 20+ years. I first became interested in group fitness when I was a student at Penn State University. I became involved in the Instructor Training Program (ITP) offered at Penn State and began teaching classes at the university. After college, I got certified by IFTA, AFAA, Les Mills Body Pump, Zumba, and also received my 200 RYT for yoga, and I have continued to teach at many local gyms in my area. I have taught primarily Step, Toning, Body Pump, Abs, and Zumba. I am very interested in information about health, wellness, and nutrition and would love to utilize these skills to travel and teach fitness classes at various destinations.
