Heather has always been an avid gym lover & junkie. Her love of dance, lead her to her passion for Pilates! She is NESTA certified mat Pilates & Power Yoga instructor. Her focus is teaching her clients the importance of form & exercise safety but, also helping them achieve results by learning to incorporate the mind & body connection. After on onset of back problems and being diagnosed with scoliosis, Heather decided to expand her knowledge, studying under Celebrity fitness trainer Sabastien Lagree, and became a certified SPX/Pilates Plus Instructor in 2009. She loves Pilates because it’s a safe alternative to the stress & pressure put on her joints from being a completive runner.
Always looking for new ways to challenge herself & Clients, Heather is currently mastering the art of suspension training through TRX. Heather aspires to make her class’s fun & challenging, that work to change & replace bad habits; transform how you feel about physical fitness, and help you feel empowered to give you a sense of strength & well being. Heather continues to push forward in the fitness industry, working to obtain her NASM in Personal Training & Nutrition. She is also CPR & AED certified.
