Elijah Bishop

“I believe that a good personal trainer will be a key encourager, motivator and inspiration for teaching and guiding clients into the importance of taking ample care of their bodies and minds, correlating the two as one. To me, physical fitness is not an option, but a great responsibility that grants us pass from sufferings such as cancer, cholesterol, depression, anxiety, allergies, diabetes, fatigue, heart disease, osteoporosis and many other vexing complications, diseases and ailments. A professional fitness trainer can take these delicate and intricate issues into consideration and design a program that will help prevent and even treat many diseases and sickness, both physically and psychologically. Understanding each person as an individual with different needs allows us the liberty to pursue these needs without bias approach, but rather with care and attention to specifics and design that make our programs 95% accurate! Exercise programs are only instructions if not warranted with an educated, empathetic encourager to help see them through. Elijah has served as a Professional Personal Trainer for over 10 years and has worked in the health and fitness industry for 14 years! He has over 12 certifications and licenses pertaining to health and fitness and continues to grow in experience and education every day. Elijah is also a practical instructor in the World Instructor Training School (WITS) program, a Professional Fitness Consultant for local and national fitness businesses, and a lecturer/ adviser for Medical Fitness Therapy Programs to Primary Care physician groups and Senior Living agencies.   He is current projects include working on his first book project with a local psychiatrist spotlighting the effects of exercise and nutrition in dependency populations as well as filming a fitness video with a local OB/GYN targeted toward new mothers!  He is also the fitness model for YUM!’s health initiative “Keep It Balanced,”  the local expert spokesperson for the health supplement “Rockit Refuel,” and the legislation director for licensing personal trainers in the state of Kentucky through ptlact.org.  Yet his most proud accomplishment is his four wonderful kid
