My name is Nandini Mathur and I reside in New Jersey. I am currently the Program Manager of a corporate fitness center with Medifit Corporate Services in NYC. I am also an adjunct professor at William Paterson University in the Kinesiology department, while also running my own personal training business. I am passionate about health and fitness and helping people enhance the quality of their lives. I realized that at an early age while I was a child athlete participating in gymnastics, martial arts, soccer, swimming, cheerleading, tap, jazz, and ballet.
I was born in New Delhi, India and raised in New Jersey. I received a B.S. in Kinesiology from University of Maryland at College Park and an M.A. in Applied Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. Upon graduation from undergraduate studies, I worked in human resources for five years and realized that was not for me. I then went into personal training and corporate fitness and simultaneously obtained my master’s.
I have been in corporate fitness for seven+ years and love every minute of what I do. Most recently, I have been teaching classes within the Kinesiology Department at WPU. I am currently attending the United States Sports Academy in pursuit of my EdD in Sport Management.
I am still very active and outside of work, I enjoy boxing, running, lifting weights and any activities that involve being outside. I also enjoy traveling and seeing new places around the world. I just got married and returned from my Fiji honeymoon three months ago!
