I started getting involved in Fitness in my early twenties in France. I enrolled in the National Certification Program for Fitness Instructors (a year-long program) and started teaching step and conditioning classes in local health clubs. In 1991, as I was finishing up my Master's Degree, I was selected to work as a teaching assistant at the University of Connecticut. I continued to teach exercise classes in health clubs, while working at UCONN as a French Teacher. I met my soon-to-be husband and stayed in America. In 1994, I moved to California and worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. In 1999, I started working as a group exercise director while continuing to teach classes. I have been the Group Exercise Director for Oakwood Athletic Club for
the past 8 years, and directed a Group Exercise Program for Bally Total
Fitness for 3 years prior to my current job. I practice fitness in all aspects of my life. I enjoy sharing my passion for health and fitness and continue to grow with every class I teach. I attend fitness conferences every year.
