Lori Julian

I have been a student of Pilates for over 10 years, teaching for over five and certified for four years. My certification for both mat and equipment is through The Pilates Physical Mind Institute®. The program requires an extensive 500-hour training, which includes workshops, observation, teacher assisting, and actual student teaching, as well as, passing a practical and written certification exam. I was awarded my certification February of 2006. I also received certification to teach Beamfit™ in the fall of 2009. I taught Pilates on the equipment at Body Evolve Pilates Studio in Lake Forest for three years (January, 2005 – November, 2007), and currently, I run my own business in a private studio in my home since March of 2008. I’ve also taught mat Pilates at Gorton Community Center and, for the last three and a half years, at the Lake Forest Recreation Department.
