Growing up with scoliosis, I have always had constant, cronic pain in my shoulders and lower back. After an injury to my back, and working long hours with a physical therapists, I knew that I had to strengthen my body. Create a lifestyle that encourages and supports physical activity and my personal wellness. I began studying kickboxing, became an avid runner and lifted weights, none of which helped the constant pain and fatigue I found in my back. I began educating myself on the benefits of Pilates and knew I needed to try it. After my first class, I was hooked, I immediately felt the release in my back and quickly found the strength of my core. I studied Pilates as a client for 2 years until I was encouraged by my Master Pilates Instructor, Ahme, to look into my teaching certification. Like many things in life, I went for it with all forces, I quickly conquired the stringent requirements for Balance Body University, the world reknown Pilates education program, became and member of Pilates Method Alliance and started teaching at my hometown studio. I have been teaching the traditional mat repotoire for four years and has just begun teaching on the Pilates Reformer.
I love to travel, spend time with friends and family and continual learn new things.
I have traveled with Fit Bodies Inc. for over three years and have enjoyed each and every one of my resorts, staff and new clients.
