Hillary Henderson has been training people in the Pilates method at the MAC since 2003. A classically trained dancer for over two decades, Hillary has also spent the last 8 years teaching ballet to both children and adults. Discovering the positive impact that utilizing a Pilates regimen had on old dancing injuries has led Hillary to work with certified physical therapists and personal trainers. These collaborations have led to the creation of specialized Pilates workouts for all types of people recovering from any manner of injuries. Ms. Henderson has combined her dance and Pilates experience into highly successful MAC class called The Barre Workout, which blends elements of Pilates, ballet and free weights.
She is Stott Pilates trained in mat and equipment, with a specialization in pre-natal Pilates. In addition to her Pilates training, Hillary also has a Group Fitness certification through AFFA.
