Lynne received her 200 hour certification from Atma Yoga in 2000. Atma Yoga is a Kripalu based yoga which is founded in core strength and safety of the body. After working in the medical field for 16 years, as a Medical Assistant and Office Manager in pediatric and family medicine, she honors the way that yoga addresses the mind, body connection. Lynne completed a 5 day Vinyasa Flow Teacher’s Intensive with Shiva Rea. She enjoys putting vinyasas or yoga flows together to help create releases. She also works with creative visualization during relaxation, which led her to a Yoga Nidra training at Kripalu Yoga Center in July 2004. This now allows her to share her love of the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra. This guided deep relaxation is especially helpful for those with chronic physical or emotional pain.

Lynne has been teaching yoga full time for 10 years now. She was a core teacher at Westfield Yoga Studio for 4 years, a core teacher at Heartsong Yoga in East Longmeadow, MA for 3 years and in 2006 opened Simply Yoga Studio in East Windsor, CT. For 7 years now, she has been teaching 5 weekly classes at the Enfield Senior Center and has recently developed a new class taught there called Simply Stretch and Strengthen which also works with memory, balance, and coordination. She also teaches a 2 credit yoga course at Asnuntuck Community college.

Lynne spent two weeks of the summer of 2005 assisting her yoga teacher, Christopher Ken Baxter at the Omega Center in Rhinebeck, NY. In the spring of 2005, she had a piece published in the book, Yoga Meditations ~Timeless Mind-Body Practices.
