Jennifer Ernst

Jennifer has been involved in group fitness for twenty years.  Her first gym experience was with step aerobics and her love for fitness blossomed from there.   She attended Pilates training in 2004 and spinning training with Johny G in 2006. Jennifer teaches group and private yoga classes based on the Ivengar method. She has completed trainings with Brian Kest, Rod Striker, and Yogafit.She has worked with professional, collegiate and semi-pro athletes and the weekend warrior.  Her classes focus on stretching tight areas of the pelvic bowl, hip and back while strengthening the support muscles of the body. This proves effective for body tightness related to running, golfing, general aging, and repetitive motions.  She tailors her classes to her students, because she wants it to be "not my yoga--your yoga, your workout, yours". As a non-traditional student,  Jennifer completed her BS in Human Nutrition in August 2011 and will be attending the Graduate School at the University of Kentucky in the Spring of 2012.  Most recently, Jennifer has become a fan of Yoga Muscle and plans to incorporate that in her teaching line up in 2012.
