Christopher Pulliam

Christopher Pulliam is both a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, specializing in sports conditioning & martial arts. As a trainer, Christopher relies upon his experiences as a competitive athlete and as a parent in order to help clients find healthy solutions to reaching fitness goals while also managing life and making time for family. Although eager to develop programs that help participants look great/lose weight, Christopher is more interested in functional fitness that helps clients move and feel as good as they look. Originally from Ft. Wayne, IN, Christopher grew up playing football, track, wrestling, and hip-hop dance, eventually earning a varsity letter in football from DePauw University (Greencastle, IN). As an adult athlete he has completed several open water swimming events, charity bicycle rides, and multi-sport races including the NYC Triathlon and Firmman ½ Ironman. He has also practiced the Afro-Brazilian martial art/dance called Capoeira (CAH-poe-AIR-ah) since 2001 and was promoted to the level of Monitor at the third annual Raizes do Brasil Batizado in Brooklyn, NY. What clients love most about Christopher’s exercise sessions, whether held indoors or outside, is that they are always upbeat and encouraging. Christopher also always find a way to challenge the strongest athlete while simultaneously coaching the novice to be save, confident and able to reach higher levels of fitness.
