Ryan Mitchell

I am a passionate fitness professional, race director, and business owner dedicated to helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. As the owner of RAM Fitness and Cycling Studio in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, I have spent the past 17 years specializing in personal training, group fitness, and bootcamp-style workouts. My gym runs 18+ weekly classes and serves 20+ one-on-one clients, creating a supportive and energetic fitness community.

I am a certified RPM and RealRyder Cycling Instructor, and I love teaching Tabata/HIIT, TRX, BOSU, group strength, and core classes. My goal is to make every workout effective, challenging, and fun, helping clients build strength, endurance, and confidence.

Beyond the gym, I am the Founder and Race Director of the Copper Town Triathlon, which has grown steadily each year. This event benefits local businesses and strengthens community connections. I have also directed and organized other fitness events, including the DU 283 Duathlon and a Cycle Marathon for United Way, where we raised $10,000 for a great cause.

With a BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph, I blend science-backed training methods with an engaging coaching style that keeps participants motivated. My expertise in community engagement, event management, marketing, and social media makes me a strong asset for any fitness organization looking to grow its reach and impact.

Whether leading a small-group session, coaching a one-on-one client, or directing a large-scale endurance event, I bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a results-oriented approach to everything I do.
