Amy Sheppard

I received my Masters in Exercise Physiology from Florida Atlantic University in 2006.  While I was in school, I worked as a Graduate Assistant teaching undergraduate students aerobics and assisting in the exercise testing lab.  After graduation, I moved to Raleigh, NC and took a job as a Health Fitness Specialist with Medifit Corp.  I worked in the employee fitness center at GlaxoSmithKline personal training and teaching group exercise.  After about a year there, I recieved a job offer at the Environmental Protection Agency in there corporate wellness center.  I am now managing that center and oversee 20 + staff and consulting instructors.  I work on creating and implentmenting incentive programs, educational seminars, and health fairs for the employees.   I also do personal training and teach various formats of group exercise.
