I’ve been enjoying tennis for most of my life. As a freshman in high school, I helped create our school’s (Winnacunnet) first-ever tennis team. And while my adult life took me in other directions, I never stopped playing and studying this great sport. In 2005, two years after selling my business, I decided it was time to get back into the game, as it were, and received my certification as a tennis professional through the USPTA. Since then I have been enjoying teaching tennis to both adults and children, and will be starting my fifth year as head coach for the York High School girl’s tennis team.

I’m a strong believer that experience and knowledge are important in teaching tennis. But I feel these alone will not give you a successful tennis program. Fun, motivation and enthusiasm are equally important, and is the recipe I use every time I’m on a tennis court. It works and it’s contagious.
