I have been a fitness enthusiast since I began running in 1991, eventually training for and completing a marathon, as well as many other shorter runs. After college I began taking fitness classes and was immediately hooked. In 2006 Sue Hodges, the owner of Spartan Fitness and instructor of many of the classes I was taking, talked me into getting certified to teach. I started with Turbo Kick and continued to attend certifications, workshops and conventions to further my education and expand my fitness repertoire.
I truly enjoy sharing my passion for fitness and movement with others. There is nothing better than proving to someone that they are stronger than they ever thought they could be. I take great pride in helping each and every person in my classes feel successful. I believe that fitness should be fun and leave people with a sense of accomplishment, and I provide options and modifications to ensure that my classes are attainable yet challenging for people of any shape, size or fitness level.
