After finishing school in 1979, I qualified as a Beauty Therapist and started a mobile beauty therapy business.
In 1987 I was invited to do some part time lecturing at Reading College.
As my interest in health and fitness grew I gained qualifications in teaching exercise to music, gym instruction, spinning, sports massage, nutrition and sports nutrition and more recently pilates and scientific core conditioning.
I am now programme leader for the sports therapy courses at Reading College, lecture and assess at other local training establishments, teach weekly aerobic, conditioning and pilates classes as well as run a successful mobile therapy practise.
I deliver workshops and training days in core conditioning and nutrition, and give one-to-one nutritional advice.
I am now studying for a BSc in Nutritional Medicine at Thames Valley University.
I have a positive, outgoing nature. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, training going to aerobic classes, reading and travelling.
