Jeff Soffa

Hello, I grew up in Wisconsin where I fell in love with tennis, competed on my high school team and began teaching the game at age 16. I played two years of college tennis before having to stop due to a shoulder injury. The shoulder is fine now and has never kept me from teaching. For the past 16 years I have been a Director at country clubs on the north shore of Chicago. It brings me great pleasure to work with students of all ages and see them progress and fall in love with the game. I also enjoy the creativity needed to develop fun programs and events to gain participation and growth. Many of my staff members over the years have become very good friends as their careers have progressed. The family atmosphere at the facilities I have worked are a highlight in my career. I still love the game and look forward to teaching each day I hit the courts. See you on the courts, Jeff Soffa
