            I have been training individuals and groups since 1997.  I attained my personal trainer certification through the American Council on Exercise in 1998, but found that wasn’t nearly enough to satisfy all of the questions I had about the body and its response to exercise.  I went on to earn my B.S. in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in May, 2004, with an emphasis on exercise and fitness.  I plan on doing my M.S. in the next couple of years.  Continuing education is a must for any successful personal fitness coach.  
                
        
            I regularly enjoy mountain biking, road cycling, rock climbing and kayaking in the lovely Bay Area.
