I am a professional group exercise instructor and classically trained chef. I teach fitness classes in the morning, ranging from yoga, to intense strength and endurance training, to the cardio/flexibility/strength WillPower Method. In the afternoon, I write about food, develop healthy recipes, and cook. I contributed to the book, "Best of Clean Eating", and helped write the latest editions of the "Eat-Clean Diet", created by Tosca Reno. I wrote and starred in the series, "Cooking from A to Zest", which teaches people the foundations of cooking, so that they can walk into a kitchen, asses what's there, and cook something scrumptious - without being tied to a recipe. I also give healthy cooking workshops at fitness clubs, so that members can learn to make meals that are not only delicious, but also nutritious. I have a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, and an A. A. in Culinary Arts from the Le Cordon Bleu, in Portland, OR. I am AFAA certified in Group Exercise.
