I hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and a Master's of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I am a former two-sport collegiate athlete in basketball and volleyball. I have coached high school (4 years) and NCAA Division III volleyball (4 years) with a total of 8 years of coaching experience along with numerous camps and clinics. I have developed various high school & collegiate volleyball team pre-season, in-season, and post-season strength & conditioning programs. I have also worked at Acceleration MN utilizing the Frappier Acceleration program to train athletes of various ages and athletic ability levels with sports specific plyometrics, agility drills, strength exercises, and treadmill speed workouts. I am currently the Intramural Sports Coordinator, Assistant Burns Wellness Commons Facility Director (recreation/fitness center), and a certified group fitness instructor at The College of St. Scholastica. I currently teach boot camp, sports conditioning, and 30 minute fitness express classes targeting specific muscle groups. I incorporate speed, agility, strength training, flexibility, core, and balance exercises into all of my classes. I am able to create cardio & strength workouts with or without any equipment and can modify exercises for various populations.
