My Philosophy

We all know there are things we need to take care of in our lives, and somehow in the shuffle of it all, we forget about somebody very important - Ourselves. I'm not talking about putting yourself before your family and friends - but I do believe you simply need to find the time to take care of yourself. We can make time for health and fitness. The truth is, if we do not make time now, we may find ourselves suffering from health concerns, not having much time for anything, and wishing we would have spent the few hours a week participating in a more active lifestyle. Our ability to contribute and perform in our lives and realize our dreams is directly affected by our fitness level and our willingness to take action. Be a doer. If you are ready to make a change, want to do it in the most effective way possible, and desire lasting results, consult with a professionally certified personal trainer. You will gain more time than you spend.

History
I was first introduced to fitness training at 11 years old when I was severely overweight. I started working out with my dad and I loved every bit of it! I was eager to learn more about how our body functions, and began reading anything I could find on fitness and health. I always said from being a young boy that I wanted to become a doctor because I love helping people. Well, God had different plans for me. I started working every weekend at the local gym at 14 years old and loved it. At 15, I read an article on Personal Training and was excited by the idea of helping people change their current fitness levels. At 16, I started training at the local gym where I had a clientele of ten women and five men. I was thrilled that I was finally doing what I loved.

At that time, I had no idea that I had found my true calling and passion in life. I loved personal training, but still had big dreams to play college football. My senior year I was playing against a local rival, and made a hard tackle and blacked out. I was literally seeing stars but I got up and kept playing any way. I went to the doctor the next day and he told me that I had a severe concussion. Much to my disbelief, my dreams of playing college football ended that day. It was time for plan B. So,I found my way to McNeese State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science in 2007 and a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology in 2008. I have been a one-man show since I was sixteen years old, but now I am building a team of trainers to help me in my quest to change people's mentality on fitness and health in the Lake Area. This is what we do! Changing one life at a time to LiveFIT FOREVER!
