I have always had a love for fitness, making it fun and motivating others. I participated in many school and intramural team sports in previous years, so it was a natural decision to obtain my B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology. After completing my undergraduate work I started working as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer full-time at Lifetime Fitness in Eden Prairie, MN. I continued this position for 2 years but decided to shift my career focus slightly. I continued teaching group fitness classes at Lifetime Fitness, but took a full-time position working within corporate wellness as an Exercise Specialist. After working within corporate wellness for an extended amount of time I decided to further my education and enroll in a Master's program. I am currently working on a M.A. degree in Exercise Physiology from Minnesota State University-Mankato. I am continuing to work in the fitness field throughout school as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and wellness coach at a local YMCA.
