Ethel Easter, NSCA, AFAA, PFI

 

My name is Ethel Easter and after working over 10 years dispatching for Police, Fire and EMS; everyone calls me Easter.

 

My sister died from heart disease at the age of 21 and we buried my mother on her 52nd birthday after a heart attack.  Through health, fitness, and nutrition I will continue to beat heart disease. 

 

After many years participating and teaching group exercise, I decided to become a personal trainer.  Health means exercising the Body-Mind-and Spirit. 

1.      Body is the whole physical structure.  We are all unique and have different sizes and frames.  I focus on getting and keeping people healthy.

2.      Mind is your way of thinking, education about health, determination, and most of all how you feel about yourself.  Having a positive image of yourself, attracts positive people and things into your life,

3.      Spirit is your dignity, integrity, and motivation.  Living out your purpose.

 

As a personal trainer I enjoy assisting others to reach their physical goals; I love encouraging and inspiring others to live a healthy life.

 

 Education

Easter earned her national personal fitness trainer certificate, NSCA, from the Academy of Health Care Professions located in Houston, TX.  Easter has a personal trainer certificate also from PFI (Professional Fitness Institute).  She has a certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) in practical skills and choreography.  Yoga Level Two instructor through Academy of Holistic Fitness.  Her CPR and AED certification is through PFI (Professional Fitness Institute).  Easter donates her time and skills to different religious organization and the City of Houston Housing Authority.  She is the owner and author of Resurrection Aerobics.
