I have been practicing yoga since 1999.  I had danced through school and into college and then started competitively snowboarding and found yoga as a way to regain flexibility.  Yoga did more than help me regain flexibility and equanimity in my physical body, I found a new lifestyle.  I started with taking Iyengar classes initially, and then found vinyasa yoga more to my liking.   I  started practicing hot vinyasa in 2007 at Glow Yoga and and within 2 months had decided to attend Baron Baptistes training.  I immersed myself in yoga and purchased Glow in May 2008.  I teach an average of 11 classes a week, and continue to refine my practice.  I am currently enrolled in a 500 hour training program that begins in March at Saraswati's in Norwalk CT. I teach a mindful yet vigorous vinyasa flow class. I have been very influenced by a few Anusara yoga teachers, and alignment is definitely a focus in my classes. I weave some philosophical principals into my class as I encourage students to connect to their body, through their breath and allow themselves to let go and be in the present moment.  It is becoming present that we allow ourselves to let go of stress and worries in our lives and really connect to ourselves on a deeper level.  My classes are challenging, yet soulful.
