LaMia (Mia) Jones

I am a full time working Optometrist who has fallen in love with Zumba.  I toured, trained and danced with a semi-professional Salsa Mambo Troupe, Clavekazi, out of Washington, DC for about 4 years. I was certified in Sept 2009.  I started teaching one Zumba class per week at Evolutions gym in Annapolis, MD.  After 3months, my class became so popular they added a second day!  Although my Zumba certification was Basic and not Gold, I have adapted my class as we have all age-ranges attending my class currently(from 16-65yo).  I offer "modified" movements to those that fatigue easily or have limitations.
