I have been a massage therapist since graduating from the Milwaukee School of Massage in 1982. At that time I joined the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and have been a member for 26 years. I moved to Sheboygan from Milwaukee to manage a facility that offered massage, reflexology and facials. When the owner closed the doors to the business in 1985, I started working out of my home. In July of 1986, I got married and in September 1987 I had a set of twin girls. My home continued to be my main office for massage until 2006. When my daughters went to college, I decided to apply for a job at Kohler Waters Spa in Kohler, Wisconsin. This gave me an opportunity to work with other massage therapists in a spa type setting. In 2009, I also started offering massage at a Landmark Square, a senior living community center. While continuing my work at Kohler Waters Spa, I also have private clients at Landmark Square. I have continued my education with Ahh-shiatsu (barefoot massage), Thai massage, deep tissue massage, Swedish Massage, LaStone Massage (hot and cold stones) and Stone Massage.
