Jason Masina

Jason Masina is graduating from the Business Management program at Ryerson University with his Bachelor of Commerce in April 2012 with a major in entrepreneurship and a minor in finance. He has shown a passion for entrepreneurship and management throughout much of his life, building on his burning desire to take a vision and bring it to life. Jason has always put much dedication and devotion into the people and visions that he most believes in. As a high school student he was part of the schools concert band for 4 years winning many competitions across North America. This experience has built him into a valuable team member when striving for perfection. He has also managed a band of four people for 6 years and lead the group to milestones never before thought possible by the group. Learning to lead other people is capped off by his constant involvement in playing and coaching sports as he has been doing so for most of his life. His people skills and sales savvy blossomed with many various jobs throughout his life. In particular his work with Frito Lay as a Sales Representative where he sold chips to 120+ retail stores of many varieties and dealt with customers with personalities and backgrounds from every end of the spectrum. Jason’s entrepreneurial personality can be mostly seen in his passion for music. He started various small ventures including recording studios and booking/management firms. Although he began to realize that music was a declining industry, he stuck to his passion. It was Jessica Off who helped him to realize that his entrepreneurial spirit may be more beneficial elsewhere. Although Jason does not have significant experience in the travel industry he has shown great interest in the venture in such a short period of time and a willingness to learn the industry inside out in order excel this company and vision to its utmost maximum potential.
