Yoga seemed like the perfect path to take to slow down the frenetic pace of life. Most of us don't spend enough time knowing ourselves ~ we just keep reacting. After years of competitive sports, triathlons, and lawyering, Lorna gravitated to yoga to seek balance of mind, body and spirit. It's a humbling experience to begin to let go of the familiar and to change . . . Teaching provides Lorna with the opportunit to focus on the basic elements of yoga ~ to build from the foundation and use creativity to simplify what appears to be complicated. Lorna is grateful to learn with and from her students ~ to encourage and support each other in our practice. Above all, Lorna has found teaching reminds us to take nothing for granted, to be curious, to find our inner child, to seek compassion and joy. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.
