Lee Ann Kelley

While working on a bachelor's degree in education at Auburn University, I became interested in the fitness profession from observing my overweight students during an internship at a local middle school.  Frequently, parents would ask me what I did to stay in shape.  I found teaching basic knowledge of fitness very rewarding because I would later see the results of the implementation of my instruction with their weight loss.  I began to especially take interest in Pilates as a mind/body form of toning and strengthening.  It was interesting to discover the Joseph Pilates priniciples and apply their many uses in my client's daily lives, whether it be for the purpose of rehabilitation, balance improvement, posture allignment, or overall toning and strength.  I found the instruction of group fitness quite easy due to my bachelor's and later master's degree in education.  After training clients one-on-one and in a group setting, I discovered a complete sense of job satisfaction and realized my true calling in life.
