I have been active in sports most of my life including, tennis, running, biking, weight lifting, rugby and kick boxing. I competed in rowing and before turning to yoga, I was a US Rowing certified rowing coach for our local rowing club. Realizing the benefits I received from yoga and wanting deepen my understanding, I enrolled in and completed yoga teachers training. I found yoga can benefit people regardless of what exercise or sports program they are involved in and the benefits can extend past the physical well-being.
