Julia Collins

Julia Collins received her B.A. in communications from Virginia Tech, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. After graduating from college, she attended Integrative Yoga Therapy in spring of 2005 to become a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. Since then she has taught at various yoga studios and fitness centers in the Baltimore-Annapolis area. She specializes in vinyasa flow and all-levels classes.

In 2017, Julia earned her certification in Buti Yoga, a women-focused class based on yoga, plyometrics, and tribal dance. 

Julia’s professional background stems from reporting and editing. She works as a freelance writer and editor for businesses of all sizes and specializes in ed-tech.

In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking, bird watching, skiing, boating, and especially spending time with family. Julia has a six-year-old daughter, a four-year-old son, and is happily married to her husband of eight years.
