My name is Stephanie R. Young, I'm 38 years old and I am currently in the process of retiring from the Army after 21 years of active service. I was introduced to yoga in 2008 following knee surgery as a form of physical rehabilitation. However, the physical rehabilitation was just the beginning of what yoga had to offer me. Yoga provided a way for me to manage my high stress job, quiet my mind, relax, sleep soundly, improve my mood and energy level, connect with my body and embrace self acceptance. I pursued my 200 yoga teacher training certification so I can share the yoga experience and help others find what yoga has to offer them.
