I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in body transformation. I am also a Group Exercise Instructor & Mad Dogg SPIN certified. I have been body building for over 20 years. I am an avid runner, and I have been playing ice hockey for 35 years. I am dedicated to fitness, spending approximately eight hours a week in the gym performing weight training and cardio. I am also a proponent to healthy living, which encompasses daily exercise and healthy eating. I practice what I preach.
I believe there are 3 key factors when it comes to the success of a training program. "Self Efficacy" (your personal belief that you are in fact capable of performing the behavior or achieving your goal), "Family & Friend Support" (consistent exercising will require many changes in your daily schedule, which may mean giving up some responsibilities), and "A Positive Attitude" (having a positive attitude about your training program will go a long way to helping you stay motivated and committed).
