I was always a freelance trainer and conditioning coach for the Charm City Marathon. I taught dance (for performance and for fun and endurance) for years, and awoke in 2005 to the startling realization that I had broken my back in 3 places. My injury was traumatic, forcing three separate surgeries and five years of physical therapy. In 2009, November, I was finally given the greenlight to return to the gym. At that point I'd gone from 165lbs to 289lbs. I'm back down to 175. I was told I'd never teach again. I currently teach indoor cycle, basic conditioning, and have a great following in Richmond, Virginia. I teach, pretty much, full time and consistently strive to be as good as I can be.
