Melanie McBroom

I was born and raised in the central valley of California, and have always been very active in sports and fitness activities. I was an extremely dedicated water polo player throughout my youth and teen years; and was actually chosen as an alternate for the Women's Youth National Water Polo team my sophomore year of high school, which placed me as one of the top 25 players in my age group at that time. As I got closer to college, I decided to leave my water polo career behind and seek out new interests at California State University, Chico where I majored in Kinesiology with a focus on Fitness and Wellness and minored in Exercise Science and Physical Education. I fully believe in the power of physical activity to increase physical and mental wellness in our lives, and have dedicated the majority of my time to motivate others to be more active. I am extremely passionate about Pilates, and love being a personal trainer. My energetic, motivational, loving, passionate, and positive qualities make me perfect for my career path, and I would absolutely love to bring the traveling aspect into my life as well.
