Nicole Beckerman

Nikki Beckerman, a fitness fanatic, decided over two decades ago that she would integrate physical activity into her every day life. Years ago, she was introduced by her sibling to Yoga, finding it therapeutic on a multi-dimensional level. She then realized yoga increased her flexibility, strengthened and toned her body and allowed for her to shape a more positive and balanced outlook on life. Nikki soon realized that she wanted to deepen her own practice and share her passion with others by obtaining her yoga certification under Fred Busch (as recognized by the national Yoga Alliance). Under Fred Busch's Teacher Training Program, Nikki learned how to effectively instruct others in order to integrate the practice of yoga into their own lives. Nikki specializes in Hatha Yoga/Power Yoga. Hatha Yoga focuses on disciplines such as physical postures, purification procedures, poses, breathing, and meditation. The Hatha Yoga predominantly practiced in the West consists of mostly poses understood as physical exercises. Power Yoga is a term generally used in the West to describe a vigorous, fitness based approach to yoga which does not focus on a set series of poses. Both are also recognized as a stress-reducing practice. It is important to Nikki that each and every student become aware of and begin to transform their body, mind, and spirit through Yoga. Nikki takes much pride in her students' practice and looks forward to seeing their overall well-being improve significantly.
