Melissa Daniele

              My name is Melissa Aceto Daniele. I have lived in Connecticut my entire life. My hobbies growing up were of course dancing, but I also enjoyed ice skating and cheerleading.  I was a Cheerleader in High School and enjoyed being captain of the team. I was able to choreograph the entire half -time show. I also knew at the young age of 15 that I loved teaching because I began a school Dance Club where I taught my peers Ballet and Jazz.  In College, I was a member of the Dean Dance Company and also loved spending time in the college nursery school teaching Creative Dance for Tots. At age 18, I began teaching aerobics in area gyms/health clubs. I just loved teaching and made a wonderful career of it.  I take pride in being healthy and keeping myself in the best shape I can be. I feel the secret to teaching multiple classes per week is cross- training and eating as healthy as possible to ensure the proper fuel for my body to perform at intensive levels.  My hobbies at my present age of 44 are gardening, hiking and rollerblading. I have a deep passion for finding a cure for Breast Cancer and my studio has raised over $12,000.00 in fighting this devasting disease through the American Heart Association. I participate in at least 6 non-profit events each year to benefit certain individuals or groups in need usually running in 5 K events. I have a wonderful and supportive husband named Frank who loves to hike and take my classes. My oldest daughter Alessandra, is 20 years old and I 'm so proud that she is following in my footsteps. She is a Sophomore at Central Connecticut State University studying Exercise Science. She is a excellent Cardio Dance teacher and is pursuing Group Exercise Certification this year. I have a son named Frankie, who is 16 who is a wonderful athlete (Baseball and football) and my youngest daughter Elissabeth is a wonderful soccer player and is studying acting. Our life is our children. We devote 100% of our time and money on them to pay for their college and their extra - curricular activities. Our last family trip was in April 2008 and I would love the opportunity to be able to use my expertise to in return go away on vacation. It would be a dream come true.
