Lindsay started LifestyleF.I.T. five years ago because she enjoys dedicating her life to helping others improve theirs. Inspiring people to make lifestyle changes that will dramatically improve their quality of life is her main goal as a personal trainer and fitness coach. She has a passion for helping people and making a difference in the lives of those around her. In 2005 Lindsay became certified as a personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and has been working as an independent personal trainer and fitness instructor in the Bay Area ever since. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2007 with an M.S. in Kinesiology and also received a B.A. in 2005 from UC Santa Barbara in Psychology with a triple minor in Exercise Health Science, Personal Training, and Group Fitness Instruction. Her passion for fitness started with dance when she was 6 years old and continued as she learned the beauty and ability of the human body. Lindsay has almost 20 years of experience as a dancer as well as has been a dance instructor, cardio hip-hop teacher, and NCAA cheerleader. She has taught group fitness classes for various fitness clubs including Equinox and Club One and while she was at SFSU, she worked as the coordinator of their faculty and staff fitness and wellness program. Lindsay has found that she has a special bond with her female clients and has specialized in women's health and fitness - though she is happy to challenge her guys to embrace balance and free weights! Through her education and life experiences, she has learned the importance of physical activity to the health and well being of every "body" no matter what age or life stage an individual may be in. Lindsay is passionate about helping her clients make lifestyle changes that improve their fitness and quality of life.
